HELP SAVE THE FLOATS
We just learned that the parade floats have to be moved by April 1, but we have nowhere to store them and the parade doesn't take place until September. We need help.
If you or anyone you know has a place where some or all of the floats can be stored, please call or text Dan Thompson at 301-949-3727 or email WAP at info@wheatonartsparade.org.
A generous neighbor in Kensington has offered a portion of their large garage that may be able to house 6-8 floats, but that leaves another 14 that need storage space. We also need volunteers to help move them. If you can lend a hand, please contact Dan. Click here to see images of the floats and more info about the situation.
