Wheaton Arts Parade (WAP) is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the Wheaton community, local artists and its diverse cultures. WAP was founded in 2016 to bring art and artists to the streets where the community could appreciate them in a parade and festival that would help activate the Wheaton Arts & Entertainment District. This is our tenth year producing the arts parade and festival that has grown in size along with the development Wheaton's central business district where the annual event is staged. Over the past decade, our work has expanded the ways it brings art to the community with opportunities for artists to create public art and to exhibit and sell their original artwork.
